The way things are going...

I may be changing the utility of this journal in the near future.
This may turn into a creative writing journal.

So far I've slowly started cutting things out of my life to bring a sort of "calm". I'm putting effort to return things to a way of life that is more productive for me.

So far... I've dropped soccer, certain future plans, etc...

(I'm actually drawing a blank this morning)

anyway, the only thing so far that I've taken up is working out. Yeah, no loss there. I love my time working out not because its difficult or tiring, but I get to plug in my earphones and I'm alone. I have no phone on me.... usually have no where to go... the only thing that determines when I'm done is my own self (in the form of muscle strain or hunger).

There are a few more things that I plan on dropping... I'm fully considering Netflix being dropped... I would drop my cell phone, but since I'm the second line and it costs so little that... whatever...

Writing is what is important to me now. I love acting, but that wasn't part of the original "plan" and I need to get on track to finish a damn story (novel).

My One Act is basically finished but needs a few more write club meetings to make sure its good enough to be picked to be performed. The full play I'm writing is next to be finished. That one could have a rough draft finished if I buckle down for a few weeks. Then, it will be a satisfying return to novel writing.

i know what that's like. sometimes it's easy to forget how simple things can be until you start cutting out bullshit.
it feels good :)

and sometimes its still hard to cut the crap too... still draggin' my feet on a few things... but I really do feel like the days are numbered for them.
