NPR

there was a gentleman being interviewed on NPR last night...

He was a man who has a job in which he helps people, "use the right words"...

Most known for his work with the Republican Party in America...

I was interested in this guy. As he spoke about what he does and such, I was still interested...

Then, came the questions. They were honest questions that any reporter would ask to get an interesting interview... and then the spin started. The guy started avoiding questions... he started to turn statements back on the interviewer. The woman doing the interview kept adding that she was just playing devil's advocate for the sake of an interview... and he would rabidly defend himself more and more and slowly start attacking her more and more.

One thing was that they were talking about him suggesting calling the "Inheritance Tax" the "Death Tax". His reason was that this tax doesn't happen unless someone dies, so death is the necessary item in this tax... yet, the reporter points out that it only applies to those who are passing on an inheritance of 2 million dollars or more... why shouldn't this be called an inheritance tax since not many Americans actually fall into that category. He sounds slightly angered, and stiffly responds that someone needs to die for this tax, and that is why. Reporter tries to interject, but he cuts her off and again restates his position.

The more the reporter tried to pose honest questions the more this man sounded like a jerk and a dick.
