Like I was saying

The other day I watched the Passions, no spoilers.

just this.

If you don't know all the details of the story some stuff may slip through. Like the fact that either they name people once really quick or not at all. Little facts are not said, just done... so you don't know exactly if it follows or not...

some stuff that was written as internal is represented with a visual struggle (i.e. Peter).

Other than the story lacks the proper structure of getting the audience to like the character, I guess they think everyone will just like Jesus to begin with, but the fact remains they needed more flashbacks to help the audience feel for Jesus a little more. Otherwise, like what I did, I focused more on the torture itself because it kinda felt like the character Jesus could have been anyone (although most people understand the Christian b/g)

It is a good movie. Jim Caviesal (sp) is an excellent Jesus. People who can't watch violence will not be able to watch this. Those who can, will get bored with the violence. Not that it wasn't that violent of an event, but that is what happens when it keeps going and going for a long time.

I have yet to see Big Fish. (shakes fist)

yeah...
I thought the movie was pretty good. I'm not quite the conesuer (sp?) that you are, but I thought it was overall humbling.

By the way, I found Big Fish to not stand up to its hype. Great flick, just not what I thought it could have been. I've liked so many other Burton's so much better... Basically everything he's done with jonny dep. Although it was refreshing to see Mcgregor in a Burton flick!

Later!
