There is a long laundry list of movies that I'm embarrassed to say I haven't watched yet.

now, I can strike Blue Velvet from that list.

I'm supposed to get some information off the internet for my parents, but what they gave me was wrong... sooo, I guess I will have to call them.

I was supposed to go to Sturgeon Bay with my mother for my cousin's high school graduation. I haven't seen this girl since we were little kids (she looks practically the same in the picture I saw of her), but I got a huge headache at the Blizzard game last night, and it carried over until about 6pm today. suck-o. I was asleep on the couch until 3pm because of it too. Kristen was mean and opened a window for Bacon (the cat), but I got really cold from it.

Yeah, if you don't care for David Lynch's work I can understand why a person wouldn't like Blue Velvet.

I like back tracking directors I like.

According to what I've read I'm not too interested in watching many of his movies either... hmmm... oh well.

Oh my god, watching Lynch films can only be compared to hitting your head with a hammer over and over and over again. There just seems to be this very thin thread of a story and weird stuff just happens around it. Its kinda like surreal art, but only with artists there is usually a point, something representing something...Lynch just seems to say, wouldnt it be weird to just make this happen? And your stuck saying, what the fuck was that??...I dont think of myself as super shallow, and I love LOTS of movies, but I just dont like leaving a movie saying, okay, that was just weird and Im okay with that...blah, Thumbs down to David Lynch!

His latter movies... Lost Highway and Mulhulland Drive had a plot line that I could follow...

Blue Velvet wasn't a hard to decifer movie...

I haven't seen many inbetween though...

I really want to see Eraser Head, but I live in an area where getting a movie like that is difficult.
