among these wires and skin I find something worthwhile.

Suddenly the cool metal skin fades away
and the acid flowing through my veins warm red.
all the rotors, chains and sprockets feel natural again
and I am human.
breathing and feeling like I used to.
dreaming and believing like I used to.
