Tomorrow the gloves are off

I love how the world is so livid about this attack on Iraq.

its so damned interesting to me. I love watching the process of how people work in their societies.

One.

America was against a war with Iraq pretty much until lately when they realized the Prez. could care less what college students and the average hippie-ish protestor had to say. Now, since war is there the approval has gone up. Not a total support, but more than before.

Two.
There are 24 countries who support America, but don't want to be named. Hmmmmm... Those who shout the loudest... (how does that saying go again?) :)

Three.
Some Ambassador in Iraq was quoted as saying while they were building a civilization and culture in Iraq, people were living as savages in America.

Now, I'm no history professor or anything, but weren't humans centered in the fertile crescent at that point in time? That is the center point, and people moved away from there populating the rest of the world. This is prior to even the Pyramids and Aztecs. I may be mistaken, but I don't even think there were people in the area that is now known as America at that time in history.

Four.
People love watching stuff blow up. Hey, even I'm going to be glued to the TV watching the night vision shots of Anti-Aircraft fire and bombs landing!

Anyway. I may not agree with the way the politicians have gotten us to this point, but I KNOW that Saddam cannot be allowed to have free reign.

I'm not a war junkie, but force must be used when it must. If people haven't realized it this man isn't one to turn into a good guy, or his sons who would take over the country if he died.

My opinion is that when we've plowed through Iraq and hand it over to the UN, we turn around and bitch slap Northern Korea for being stupid. Then head home.

but, who am I? No one. these are just my opinions and views.

Hmm, I'm not quite sure whether or not the first inhabitants of the Americas were around while the other area was "building civilization" and I'm not sure if there's a way to tell, if the people here also used a system of keeping track of the days- either way it's completely unfair to refer to the native populations as savages, just because people don't hold the same values or because the choose to use their resources differently, that doesn't make them any more or less savage than anyone else. One could say that the over-eager need for building empires and killing and raping people to express power is also savage, some would argue it's a necessary part of enforcing superiority over a particular group or class..

Re:
His comment just made him look stupid in my opinion. Plus, it was on CNN so the whole world say and heard him being dumb.

I agree, there is not any evidence if there were people in the Americas at that time. I doubt it though since that time in history all tools, records and fossils shows signs of life in Mesopotamia at that time, but not so much anywhere else if I remember correctly.
